“No, take it,” Eric said looking at Brandon quizzically. “You going to finish that? Brandon asked, pointing at Eric’s half-eaten sandwich. This suited Brandon just fine as it meant he could eat as much as he wanted without any weird questions. His parents tended to be at work until late and left again early and simply refilled the fridge and pantry whenever things ran low taking no notice of the intervals in between. Brandon’s curved little belly didn’t go away anymore between meals and became even more pronounced after a large one. “Well you don’t look as skinny as you used to.” “When I decided I was too skinny!” Brandon exclaimed happily, eating a french toast stick in one bite. “When did you get such an appetite?” his friend Eric asked, his brow furrowing. It was about a month into his afternoon snack binges and Brandon was working his way through his second lunch in the cafeteria. That was the day Brandon decided he wanted to be the fattest kid in school. The sandwich was easy but finishing off an entire bag of chips was a challenge, but he managed. He returned to the kitchen and made himself a sandwich, grabbed a bag of chips, and took them to the couch in front of the TV. Brandon regarded the double pack of snack cakes in his hand before ripping it open and eating them, then another, then another until the box was empty. He ran his hand over it a couple times, then pushed his finger into his belly. It still looked pretty full, it was curved a little and his shirt was pushed out slightly further than usual. He had a pack halfway open before he remembered that he had eaten a lot that day and didn’t really feel all that hungry. After another uneventful bus ride in a slight rain, Brandon arrived to an empty home and began to search for a snack which turned out on this day to be a box of snack cakes. After they were handed out there were extras that nobody claimed so he ended up having three of them before getting on the bus and going home. Then during last period some girl whose name Brandon couldn’t remember brought in cupcakes because it was her birthday.
It was after all pizza day and who wanted to pass up an opportunity like that? So he had purchased himself another lunch and eaten both slices of pizza even though he wasn’t really hungry anymore. He decided to treat himself and, after finishing the large lunch he had brought, bought a lunch from the school cafeteria.
It was on a day that he had forgotten that he had packed a lunch and brought lunch money with him as well. The studio’s other works include Rio Rex, LA Rex, NY Rex, London Rex, and Death Chase.The idea first struck Brandon early in the school year.
